About Wendy Sims
Wendy began video editing over 25 years ago as a way to capture the adventures of her young children. Wendy has provided filming & editing services to many organizations and individuals including Charles Armstrong School, Borel Middle School, Pied Piper Players, Lauren Mayer Productions, the Peninsula Jewish Community Center and San Mateo High School.
Before working here full time, Wendy was the Director of Operations at Pied Piper Players as well as working as a high tech Training & Development Manager. Wendy is proud to have been a past board member for several bay area non-profits. Wendy has been recognized as a Telly Award winner as well as "Best Videographer" from the "J" Magazine.
Recent Projects
JINX The Musical
Wendy is currently working as the Director of Photography and Editing on a documentary on the journey of the original work JINX: The Musical. The show, written by Makena Reynolds with music by JT Kaufman & Teagan Reynolds and lyrics by Teagan Reynolds, will be performed by Borel Middle School in March 2023. Wendy is thrilled to be working with Jeannie Barrett & Alyssa Goldrath on this MUST SEE project.
Pied Piper Players Community Theater Montage
In celebration of Pied Piper Players 20th Anniversary, Wendy edited footage from various shows and interviews throughout the 20-year history of Pied Piper Players. Providing captivating teasers, trailers and montages to enhance the final product has always been a signature of Wendy Sims Productions. Wendy has also filmed and edited over 50 musical productions for various schools and theater organizations.
